Information we use
When you become a levy payer, Birmingham City Council will pass your details on to us.
The BID levy-paying businesses are defined by the rules of the BID regarding the rateable value of hereditaments liable for the levy. The details of the hereditaments are supplied from the Valuation Agency via Birmingham city Council who collect the levy on the BID’s behalf.
We use your name and address to send you our newsletter, by post, containing information and news about the local area to keep you updated and fully informed.
You may also receive these emails even if you are not a levy payer if we have your name and address through face-to-face meetings and contact from the BID and the businesses.
Sutton Coldfield Councillors also receive this newsletter to their address.
Your data is stored on the Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce’s systems. For more details, you can visit https://www.greaterbirminghamchambers.com/info/privacy-policy.
This data is held for the duration of time you are a levy payer or unless you move out of the BID area or direct us otherwise (i.e. ask to be removed from our mailing list). Once you cease to be a levy payer you’re data is deleted.
